Best Practice:
To avoid having to change your account email address due to personnel changes, we recommend that you use a role-based or service account email instead of a personal email address.
Before You Begin
- You will need to be an organization owner to transfer ownership of your organization.
- You must have at least one other confirmed organization member or admin to transfer your organization.
- If you are a member of multiple organizations, switch to the organization you are acting upon in one of the following ways:
- At the top left, click the triple bar icon to expand the left panel, click the current organization name, and select the organization to which you wish to switch.
- At the top right, click the current organization name to open the quick settings menu, select Switch Organization, and select the organization to which you wish to switch. Note: See Select Organization in Add, Update, and Remove Organization Members for information on switching organizations.
Transfer Organization
To transfer organization ownership:- Log in to Docubee.
- Click your account icon in the upper-right corner of your screen.
- Click Manage Organization to go to the Organization General settings.
- Scroll down to the Transfer Ownership section.
- Select I understand and want to transfer
. - From the dropdown of organization members, select the member who will be the new owner for the organization.
- Click Transfer Organization.
