Applying Document Timestamps
A Document Timestamp is an internal dictionary that allows an individual to validate the exact contents of the PDF at the time indicated in the Timestamp token. It is similar to a Digital Signature except there is no personal identity associated with the certificate.
How to Apply a Document Timestamp
- Click on the Timestamp button on the Secure Tab
- From the list of available Timestamp servers select the one you wish to use
- This will then prompt you to select a location on your computer to save the document
- Click Save to complete adding the Document Timestamp and save the document
